Rentals
Rent a meeting room, the Hunt Club Park Aquatic Center, FitNation’s Indoor Pool, picnic shelters, or athletic fields.
Tree Dedications
Plant a tree in honor of and in memory of special individuals, couples and groups. A tree is a wonderful way to remember someone you love or give as a birthday, anniversary or graduation gift. Please call Sarah Sinclair, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, with any additional questions about dedications or the selection process at 847-599-3781.
- In Ground Plaques – included with the tree cost
- Walnut Grain Plaque - 5 x 7 inches for your home as a remembrance of the occasion
- Trees can be planted at any Gurnee Park District park location
- Orders must be placed each year by July 1
- Tree types:
- Shade - Hybrid Elm, Hackberry, Honeylocust, Ginkgo, Kentucky Coffeetree, Linden, Maple, Oak
- Ornamental - Serviceberry (Single or Multi Stem), Japanese Tree Lilac, River Birch, Flowering Pear
- Evergreen - Eastern White Pine, Norway Spruce, Douglas Fir, Dawn Redwood (deciduous)
- July 1 – all applications must be submitted to be a part of the annual dedication by this date.
- Dedications are typically held on the first Sunda in October each year. Donors will receive a formal invitation to attend.

In order to provide safe, accessible, and entertaining parks for all, please abide by the park rules found on our ordinances and regulations page.
Please note violation of these rules may result in a fine of up to $1,000. We ask for your assistance by reporting vandalism or unsafe conditions to the Gurnee Police, 911 or the Park District Office at 847-623-7788. Thank you.
