The Testimonial Dinner LOCATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE Hunt Club Community Center in Gurnee on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The Gurnee Days Honoree is presented by the Gurnee Days Corporation to individuals who have given selfless service to the community. Mayor Kristina Kovarik truly exemplifies this ideal, and we will be very pleased to have you with us to honor her.

In remembrance of Richard A. Welton, who started Gurnee Days 45 years ago with a picnic in the park, this year’s dinner will be hosted at Bittersweet Golf Club under a tent with a picnic buffet provided by Portillo’s. Cost is $30.00 per person.

The Mayor will be promoting one of her charitable causes during the dinner to raise awareness of the chronic housing crisis facing our most vulnerable residents. Housing First is a local organization seeking long-term solutions to permanently solve the plight of the chronically homeless.
